Selecting EPC Elements

Selecting elements is necessary if you wish to edit the elements via the sidebar or if an action shall be applied to multiple elements simultaneously. This could be a move or a delete or also an alignment of elements. To select multiple elements keep the CTRL button pressed while clicking on the desired elements.

If you click on an element it is selected: Both element indicators become visible:

In order to select multiple elements simultaneously keep the control key (CTRL) pressed while clicking on additional elements. Deselect an element by an additional click:

If you release the CTRL key and click on an empty space of your work surface you will unmark your selection.

Another option is dragging a frame around all elements to be selected:

All elements inside the frame will be selected:

The selection frame may also be used inside a Frame element:

Frame elements will not be included in the selection frame:

Frame elements can however be selected in multi select mode (keep the CTRL key pressed and click on a Frame's border):

In order to mark all elements on a work surface open the context menu in an empty space and select the option Select All:

All elements on your work surface will be selected, the context menu remains open and shows different options. You could for example copy, delete or align all marked objects. If all elements were selected via the context menu, then you can subsequently deselect single elements by clicking on them while holding the CTRL button down:
