startsWith() Operation

Syntax

set aBoolean = aString.startsWith(LITERAL)

Semantics

Returns true, if the string aString starts with the string represented by the literal. In all other cases, false is returned.

Substitutables

aBoolean

Can be any variable or object attribute having the type Boolean.

aString

Can be any variable or object attribute having the type String.

LITERAL

String literal.
