Platform Operator API

Like any Kubernetes controller, the PAS Platform Operator can be configured using special API objects. For PAS, these are:

• Platform

• PlatformTemplates

• Workload

The platform API uses and is built by specific platform templates. It creates workloads for each deployment or statefulset in the cluster. The workloads encapsulate the main logic. They also determine how the pods and the Istio service mesh are configured.
