A deployment is a running instance of a PAS project on a platform. Each deployment has a name of its own, so the same project can run more than once, for example one deployment on a development platform and one on a production platform. A deployment contains the components of the project it was created from (services and apps, together with the agents its service provides) and it is always tied to the project version you selected when you deployed it.
In the Control Hub, deployments are the working object you spend most of your time with. This chapter explains, how to handle deployments within the Control Hub:
