Prerequisites
The AI agent feature is only available in a Kubernetes setup.
To use PAS AI agents, you need an account with an AI service provider that is not provided by Scheer PAS. Currently, OpenAI and Mistral are supported as providers. You can also use other LLMs if they are hosted by Microsoft Foundry.
In our first AI tutorial, you will learn the basics of using an AI agent in Scheer PAS: You will start by creating and configuring your own AI agent. You will then learn more about how to optimize your agent's performance using efficient prompts and test your AI agent. Finally, you will learn how to integrate your AI agent into a designer service.

David Stringer of ACME Corp. is facing a challenge. His colleagues from ACMEβs insurance department have asked him for help. They receive a lot of insurance inquiries from customers via email. Unfortunately, these emails are rather unstructured: it takes a lot of time to read them and transfer the necessary information to the corresponding request form.
David is certain: this is exactly the right task for an AI agent. He therefore wants to build a service in which an AI agent extracts the necessary data from these unstructured queries and presents them in a request form.
You are going to help him with that task.
