BPMN description

BPMN defines a set of arrows to connect the different process elements as well as the process themselves. They are used to:

Describe the order in which different steps are to be executed
Associate additional information such as comments
Depict how messages are to be exchanged between different swimlanes

UML representation
Connectors have no UML representation as they are not yet relevant for the execution of the process.
