The administration application gives you access to the logs of a service or container.

You have two options to access the service/container logs:

  • Use icon in the quick actions bar in the services' list.
  • Open the details page of a service/container and scroll down to section Logs.

Depending on the source, you will see different displays:

Accessing the Logs of Docker Containers

This option is only available for type pas-service (= PAS applications without UI).

Click on the icon  in the services' list to open the logs of the corresponding service in Kibana.

Scheer PAS uses Kibana to view, filter and search the platform logs for all services

Go to page Using Kibana for further information. If you open Kibana for the first time on a newly installed platform, you will have to create an index pattern first, see Creating an Index Pattern.

You can also open the details page of a Docker container and scroll down to section Logs to get access to Kibana.

Click the link Open Kibana and show logs to do so.

Accessing the Logs of Integration Services

If you click on the icon  in the services' list, the service opens directly in the integration component (Bridge) of the platform and tab Logging is displayed.

You can also open the details page of an integration service and scroll down to section Logs to get access to the Bridge.

Click the link Open Bridge and show logs to open tab Logging of the service in the integration component (Bridge).

Refer to the Bridge User Guide for detailed information about the functionalities of the integration component.
