This document is primarily a help to be introduced in managing E2E Bridge node instances, E2E proxy servers, E2E xUML services, Node.js services, Java services, users, groups, and the Bridge itself.
Secondarily, this document can also be used as a reference guide. Each section of the web-based administration console is described in a self-contained chapter in this document.
Platform-Specific Hints
The Bridge is designed to run on a variety of operating systems.

This guide may contain more hints about platform-specific differences. The E2E Bridge supports the latest versions of the following browsers: Additionally, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is still supported.
Preconditions
The installation of the Bridge has been completed and you know the name or the IP-address of the host where the Bridge is installed. You must also know the port, to which the administration console service is listening.
To solve technical problems and to stop or start the Windows service of the administration console (E2E Console), you need administration rights on the system depending on the installation options you have chosen. On Unix systems you need to login as root.
Some xUML services may require pre-installed libraries, depending on the adapters they use. For example, if you use the SQL adapter to connect to a DB/2 database, you must install the DB/2 client libraries on the system where the Bridge is running.
