This document serves as a user guide for working with the E2E Bridge® Scheer PAS BRIDGE Integration Platform (short term: E2E Bridge). Part of the Bridge is the a Web-based E2E Console, which is the management system for the E2E Bridge.

This document is primarily a help to be introduced in managing E2E Bridge node instances, E2E proxy servers, E2E xUML services, Node.js services, Java services, users, groups, and the Bridge itself.
Secondarily, this document can also be used as a reference guide. Each section of the web-based administration console is described in a self-contained chapter in this document.

Bridge supports the latest versions of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Additionally, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is still supported.

Preconditions

The installation of the Bridge has been completed and you know the name or the IP-address of the host where the Bridge is installed. You must also know the port, to which the administration console service is listening.

To solve technical problems and to stop or start the Windows service of the administration console (E2E Console), you need administration rights on the system depending on the installation options you have chosen. On Unix systems you need to login as root.
