back up or restore the content of a single database including permissions.

 

Backups are stored on the server, but you can download them as a file e.g. for archiving or transport. You can restore a database from a backup on the server. A backup file can be uploaded in advance. 

Create

Create a backup of a database by clicking the Create new backup button in the upper right corner. Select the database you want to back up. You can only select databases for which you have permission.  Enter the name of the backup in the respective field. Start the backup by clicking the Start backup button.

In the list of backups on the server you can delete individual backups or download them as a file.

Upload

Click the Upload backup file button in the upper right corner to open the upload section. Click the button Select backup to pick an existing backup file from your device.

 

Enter a name in the respective field and click Confirm. The backup file is uploaded and can be seen in the list of backups on the server. 

Note that the

The creation date of the backup corresponds to the time of the upload.

Clicking on any row in the main table allows you to choose an existing backup for restoring a database. Choose a database as target for

restore . Be aware,

recovery.

Start the recovery by clicking the Restore button.

Note

Note that any information in the selected database is overwritten by the

restore. Start the restore by clicking the Restore button.
