Install Redis

To install the Redis, you need to execute the following steps:

  1. Download the latest 3.x Redis setup file for Linux (version 3.2.12) or Windows (version 3.0.504, Microsoft's official Win-64 port).

  2. Setup Redis as a service on your machine
    Linux: Consult the Redis installation instructions.
    Windows: Execute the MSI package.

  3. Optional: Consult the Redis Security document to protect your Redis installation.
