Managing UI Links

When an xUML service UI application is deployed to a Bridge, all UI instances which were created within the xUML service will be directly available in form of a link. Clicking on the link of a UI instance will open the UI in a new browser window.

Embedding UI in the Bridge

Next to creating xUML service UI applications for use within portals or standalone, it is also possible to create UI applications specifically for an xUML service. This user interface can be used to visually administrate xUML service settings which are not possible to administrate on the standard Settings tab.

Creating a Bridge UI

A Bridge UI is integrated within the xUML services administration section. It fully integrates in the Bridge standard UI. In general, the user interface links into the Bridge by applying the appropriate setting when creating the Component Diagram. The Console UI Name parameter represents the name of the xUML service section tab. The check box isConsoleUI, when checked, will show integrate and show the tab and therefore makes the Bridge UI application accessible.

Access to the Bridge UI

To be able to access the Bridge UI application, you need to be logged into the administration interface of the Bridge with a valid administrator account. Further, the user who deployed the service will have access to its settings. In case of a session time out or log out from the Bridge, the UI application will not be accessible anymore.
