Integration (Bridge) User's Guide
This document serves as a user guide for working with the Scheer PAS Bridge Integration Platform (short term: Bridge). Part of the Bridge is a Web-based Console, which is the management system for the Bridge.
This document is primarily a help to be introduced in managing Bridge node instances, proxy servers, xUML services, Node.js services, Java services, users, groups, and the Bridge itself.
Secondarily, this document can also be used as a reference guide. Each section of the web-based administration console is described in a self-contained chapter in this document.
Platform-Specific Hints
The Bridge is designed to run on a variety of operating systems.
Bridge 7 Windows Server 2019
Bridge 7 Windows Server 2016
Windows 11
Windows 10
RedHat Enterprise Linux 8 x86 or newer
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12.1 x86 or newer
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS x86 or newer
This guide may contain more hints about platform-specific differences.

The Bridge supports the latest versions of the following browsers:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge
Additionally, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is still supported.
Preconditions
The installation of the Bridge has been completed and you know the name or the IP-address of the host where the Bridge is installed. You must also know the port, to which the administration console service is listening.
To solve technical problems and to stop or start the Windows service of the administration console (Console), you need administration rights on the system depending on the installation options you have chosen. On Unix systems you need to login as root.
Some xUML services may require pre-installed libraries, depending on the adapters they use. For example, if you use the SQL adapter to connect to a DB/2 database, you must install the DB/2 client libraries on the system where the Bridge is running.
