Explorer Tab Overview
| The Explorer tab is the most important window of the Business Modeler. In this tab you can see every folder and model. Users with the respective permissions can manipulate its content. |
Databases
| This is the first window that appears after login. It presents all databases that are currently active. You can only create a folder in a database. Please note that you will only see databases, folders and models you have read or write permissions for. |
Folders
| The sreenshot shows a folder structure. In the selected folder you can create a model or a new folder. |
Models
| You can only create models in folders. Models cannot be created directly in a database. The different types of models are explained on page Model Processes. |
Objects
| You can find the Object item in the Explorer tab. You can turn this option on or off. Objects are only visible in the Explorer tab structure if you activate the checkbox at the bottom of the screen. When you select any of the given objects and select a model in the Description bar containing that object, it will open in a new tab. You only see the objects for which you have read or write permission. |
Model Status Attribute
| If you create Status attribute for a model and select a status, that model will have a status icon in Explorer tab. The status icon varies depending on which status is selected. Status of a model can be: approved, in approval process, in progress or not approved. |
