The Attributes panel displays the settings All elements on the execution pane have attributes that describe their behavior in the service. In the Attributes panel, you can see and change the attributes of a selected execution element. You can use the panel to manage the element's attributes.
If you click empty , will display the attributes of the BPMN element that is currently selected on the diagram pane.The standard attributes for execution elements are contain

    Managing the Attributes' Content

    If you click on the execution pane itself, the Attributes panel displays the attributes of the BPMN element that is currently selected on the diagram pane.

    Standard Attributes

    In the attributes panel, all attributes of an the selected element are displayed. Some standard attributes are used present for all elements, while other attributes are only available for specific elements. Find below a list of all attributes.

    Element names must follow certain naming rules. They

    • must not contain blanks
    • must not start with a cipher
    • must not contain special characters

    Operation names can also be changed by double-clicking the related element in the diagram.

    Execution elements always have a Type.

    The types to be used

    These can be basic

    types, or must be provided with a library. The display in the attributes panel is read-only.

    For variables, you can change the type by clicking the link icon Image Added and selecting a class from the list of available types.

    On the execution pane, attribute Description is only available if you select an object flow. In that case, the attributes panel shows the attributes of the corresponding BPMN element and you can insert a description for this element.

    Stereotype

    Via button Add Stereotype, you can add a stereotype to an execution step.

    By adding a stereotype, you can extend the attributes of an element with additional properties. For more information, refer to the related adapter pages.
