Error Handling AI Agents

This feature is only available in a Kubernetes setup.

Errors may occur while working in Scheer PAS. To facilitate troubleshooting, corresponding error and notification messages are displayed in the application. The overview of error messages allows you to identify possible causes and possible solutions. It also refers to documentation pages that contain further details.

AI agent does not work after import.

You have not adapted the AI agent’s REST alias to the new system.

After the import, adapt the system prefix in the AI agent’s REST alias to match the current system:

AI agent progress bar shows message Agent deployed successfully but the agent’s status is Progress.

The API key or other alias' settings are not correct.

Check the AI agent’s logs for error messages.

Enter a correct API key in the AI service provider alias.

Deployment error.

The service that contains the AI agent cannot be deployed.

Check the AI agent’s elements:

  • Did you rename the AI agent’s default operation or its default parameters?

  • Did you delete the AI agent’s default operation or its default parameters?

Do not delete or rename the default elements of the AI agent!

  • If you changed the name of the AI agent’s operation, change it back to execute.

  • If you changed the name of an agent’s parameter, change it back to input/output.

  • If you deleted one of those elements, recreate it with the default names execute (operation), input (input parameter, output (output parameter).

The agent does not deliver the expected data or cannot be deployed.

  • You have changed the agent’s data model. For example: You created new properties in the complex type that you use for the agent’s input or output parameters.

  • You have updated the settings of the AI Service Provider Alias.

  • You have renamed the service that contains an AI agent using a service API as a tool.

A change outside the AI agent UI, e.g. changes in alias configuration or in the service panel, does not trigger a redeployment of the AI agent.

The agent is only deployed if you make changes on the system or user prompt.

Then open the Testing tab to trigger a redeployment of the agent.

Using the Execute button in the Testing tab also deploys and updates the AI agent, if it is not already running or changes in the prompts are detected.
